Forgetting God has dire consequences to the church as individuals and a whole. When we neglect the truth of Gods word and the call to live it out in obedience and fear, sin capitalises.
We can't know or understand God without the transforming power of Jesus giving us a new life; a new heart. This new heart He gives us comes with the capability to understand and know Him.
There is no escaping the responsibility of a Christian in this world. Not only do we give an account for our life choices, words, and actions, but work for the Lord will be scrutinised also and burnt with God’s very own fire.
God not only cares for your mental health, but He prescribes the antidote also to help you stand in a world that welcomes fear, prescribes it and at times celebrates it.
I have learned to schedule it with more margin, allowing more space for “ministry” time. I also do TRY and balance it with things like getting enough rest.
I believe that as we comfort and edify each other in these trying times we will bring the light to dark places, sober the mind to make not just right decisions but righteous decisions with the powerful lens of Gods word.
